My campaign is based around the idea the barrier between the fey and the material planes are now more permeable and children across this forest and it’s small towns are disappearing. That way I balance the tricky fey into something the characters can navigate more easily. The spring realm can be challenging but the results of fucking up etiquette is whimsical and annoying instead of binding your soul and fucking your entire character up while making trades in Nachautur or the realm of Frozen Tears would be terrible. The little town is a small Eladrin village with a crystal fairy spire in the middle. They find a fey crossing in a goblin cave and they end up in a goblin market in Nachautur for example or they enter into the fey during Spring in a forest and they are now in a surreal mirror image of that forest where the or brambles are huge rose bushes with flowers that have faces and the mosses are a purple pink glowing hue. The feywild and the Material plane in this campaign intersect at different points dependent on the environment and seasons when the characters enter it. Ok I am running a homebrew feywild campaign and before I saw Beyond the Witchlight I said it sounds fun but not what I wanted to run after I got it and read it well I would definitely run it but now I have this full set of adventures for different levels I had to get out of my head and run.
